Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) are terms that have been defined in many different and often confusing and conflicting ways. There are still many misperceptions about DE&I and why it makes good business sense. This lunch and learn presentation is good for anyone who has not taken a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion course before, and those wanting to learn more. The objective is to provide foundational learning, and an introduction to the various components of DE&I.
Our learning objectives include clarifying definitions, providing evidence that diversity, when managed well, can positively impact the bottom line, and to heighten awareness of the barriers to sustaining an equitable and inclusive culture.
This meeting is pending approval for HRCI recertification credit and has been approved for SHRM recertification credit.
